McKenzie MDT Therapy
The McKenzie Method® is a philosophy of active patient involvement and education for back, neck and extremity issues. Its centerpiece is a data and research proven methodology backed by therapists worldwide.
Also known as Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), what sets The McKenzie Method apart from other physical therapy techniques is our innovative assessment process - a safe, reliable means to accurately reach a diagnosis and only then create the appropriate treatment plan. The step-by-step framework and problem-solving algorithm allow you to know right away if the method will work for your patient, eliminating the need for expensive, time-consuming tests and further evaluation.

Certified Hand Therapy
Hand therapy is based on the study of hand therapy practice conducted by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC) in 2008. Certified Hand Therapists in the United States and Canada responded to a survey that asked questions about practice, the theory and knowledge necessary to perform as a hand therapist, the types of patients seen, and the tools and techniques used. The Cutchogue office employs a Certified Hand Therapist to provide assessment and treatment of your upper extremity problems.
