Why NFPT
"Physical Therapy Clinics
Are Pretty Much All The Same...
Why Should I Choose You?"
Here's 3 Reasons Why You Should,
And 1 Reason Why You Should Not...
At Northfork, we do something that is unique to our industry in that we abide by the North Fork PT Code Of Conduct & Performance. So here's three reasons why you should consider referring to and using a physical therapy provider that follows this code, and one reason why you should not:
Reasons why:
- Patient Experience: The Code creates comfort and convenience for the patient by eliminating the most common patient frustrations and complaints about waiting, scheduling, being passed off to an inexperienced assistant, cleanliness, and feeling like a number.
- Professionalism: Official McKenzie Method Training & Certification, and continuing education are requirements for all our PTs under the code. This requirement makes us better everyday, as we learn and grow with new techniques, interpersonal skills, and options for care. Without this Code, we could not assure you that we get better everyday.
- Quality of Care: When you put this kind of effort into providing McKenzie Method physical therapy care, exceptional results just follow - naturally. If you are a physician, we believe you should refer patients to us because you determine that we are very, very, good at what we do, and it's the best option for your patient, and not for any other reason than that. We certainly don't claim to be all things to all people. Our goal is to get better every day. As long as we focus on our goal, the rest keeps taking care of itself.
Reason why not:
- Your Physical Therapy Experience Is Already So Good, It's Not Possible It Could Get Any Better: Our philosophy is that life is too short to not enjoy every minute that you can. That's why we did our doctoral work in McKenzie Method PT. We don't believe in making 'perpetual patients' out of you. We truly want you back to your lifestyle as soon as possible. Unless your PT experience can have you pain-free and able to maintain it by no later than your 6th visit, you might want to come see us.
